Little Help

Just about ready to leave, Christian rechecks all his plans to make sure everything is in place for his hot date with Kaede.

Christian: Well, the megaplex is playing X-Men 3, Over the Hedge and the Davinchi Code pretty much all within a fifteen minute start time.

Trent: Probably best to see which one she would prefer.  That way you can tell what sort of a personality she has by the type of movie she picks, right?

Trent: They all have different themes, so well, let her decide.  And if she insists you do, I would probably go for Over the Hedge.  That's the safest.

Christian: Yeah, you're probably right.  X-Men 3 would be cool, but how many girls dig comic books movies?  That would be way too lucky for me if she was into that.

Trent: Who knows.  This is your opportunity to find out what she's into and if you two are right for each other.  Just because you entered into this contest thing doesn't mean you have to go on millions of dates.  Just one.

Christian: I just hope this one is the one, you know.

Trent: Come here.  Let me fix something.

Christian: Aw, you're not going to mess up my hair, are you?  It took me--

Trent: Just trust me... and calm down already.  You're really being annoying.

Christian: Sorry... I can't help it.  I'm nervous.

::rustle::

::hair flip::

Trent: That's better.  Now take off the vest.

Christian does as instructed, albeit awkwardly.

Christian:  But I thought you said I should wear your suit?

Trent:  I've changed my mind.  It's over ninety degrees and you'll sweat like a pig in that suit especially if you have to wear the leather jacket.

Christian: What leather jacket?

Trent:  The leather jacket you'll have to wear when riding my motorcycle.  I think you'll impress this Kaede girl a lot more on my Harley than borrowing Mom's mini van.

Christian: Are you joking?  Are you really going to let me borrow your bike?

Trent: Would I joke about these sorts of things?

Christian lunged at his friend, giving Trent a friendly embrace.

Christian: Thank you SO much!  You're the best!  I'll totally be careful!  I promise!

Trent: It's ok, Christian.  I know you will.

::pat-pat-pat::

Trent: Are you crying?

Christian: ::sniffle:: No... just... allergies.

Trent:  Well, I'll make sure to pack some tissues for you.  Let's go find a jacket for you to wear and get you ready to leave.  I think you have a hot date to meet up with, right?
