Christian: That's very interesting work.

Kaede: [Smiles] It can get a little tedious sometimes. What about you?

Christian: I'm still trying to get my bachelor in engineering, but I, uhm...well, model for extra money.

Kaede: ::Blush::

I can see how that'd bring it in.

Kaede: One of my roommates models, but he's a bit of a jerk so... I don't pay much attention admittedly. What about you? You have any one living with you?

Christian: A few actually. It's a little crowded sometimes. One of my roommate's is a reporter for a magazine and well, several of us got involved in modeling. Plus my other roommate Trent is an artist, so he needs models all the time. So, well, it pays the bills.

Kaede: [Nods and rambles] Well that sounds kinda cool. My roommate Liam tells me all the time that I should get into modeling, but really, I am not beautiful enough for all that. You should see some of the girls that come in down the hall from my office. Agency down there does magazine ads. Wow. Tall, long legs, looks like they don't eat a thing for months.

Christian: I don't think that's the case at all. I think you're beautiful...

::Blush::

You should try to model if that's what you'd rather do. I just do it because I need the money. I personally don't like it most of the time, but sometimes it's cool for the gallery work Trent is working on. Not so much on the magazine stuff.

Kaede: [Missed the blush] Anyway, you should meet Liam sometime. You might have heard of him. He's kinda like a rock star.

Christian: I'm a little clueless about these things. You'll have to point him out to me sometime. Work and school makes me feel like a turtle locked in its shell sometimes.

Kaede: Oh I bet. I remember going to school nights and working during the day. It was exhausting!

Christian: ::Laughs::

It can be! You should have the last piece. I think I've had more than enough.

Kaede: I couldn't possibly. I'm about to burst.

Christian: Oh? No room for dessert then? There is always room for sweet ice cream goodness. It all melts by the time it gets to your stomach, and by then, it just squeezes right it. No problem!

Kaede: ::Giggles::

Oooh. Um. Gah! You've convinced me.

Christian: ::Laughs::

Kaede: ::Giggles::
